Breakfast Protein Boost ¬with Eggs

You need to fill up your energy first thing in the morning. We all know that making a quick fix is essential both on busy and lazy days. And what is more popular and common than eggs when it comes to breakfast? Coffee, milk, OJ, waffles, pancakes, and sausages are all runners up. I don’t know the exact count, but I am pretty sure that we consume millions of eggs each day globally, and that is a bit crazy. Chickens will sure take revenge someday.

Anyway, this breakfast protein bomb recipe is your basic fried eggs upgraded with turmeric, parsley, lemon peels, and cheese. You get your calcium (cheese), vitamin C (lemon peel), chlorophyll (mighty parsley), and turmeric shield (anti-inflammatory) all in one meal. Oh, and I spice it up with dried thyme and cayenne pepper!

You get to power up your immune system, detoxify your blood, and reduce the risk of cancer with chlorophyll filled vegetables such as parsley. It contains about 19 mg chlorophyll per cup. Lemon peel on the other hand packs a high amount of vitamin C and fibers aside from potassium, magnesium, and calcium. In fact, the lemon has the most vitamin C in its peel. Some cheese types contain more calcium than others. To name a few; Swiss, cheddar, Monterey Jack, mozzarella, Gouda, and muenster. I am also a big fan of low-fat cottage cheese. Moreover, I am not going to get in the details for the health benefits of turmeric, since there are too many to list, please see this article to get amazed.

Breakfast Protein Bomb

This recipe will make you feel full for longer. It is delicious, especially if you like eggs. The only contradictory flavor in here would be the chopped parsley. However, I strongly recommend getting used to it if you love your body. It is not just a vegetable—it is a miracle. Keep in mind that Romans used parsley as a medicinal food.

Why is protein so important at breakfast?

A high-protein breakfast supports muscle health. Increased muscle mass, in turn, helps to reduce weight and improve energy. You can gain protein easily from eggs made with Greek yogurt and beans in the morning. Egg yolks are also loaded with vitamin D.
