Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (you can use nondairy like almond milk if you prefer vegan)

  • 1/2 teaspoon organic turmeric powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon organic ginger powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 tablespoon honey (or any other syrup you prefer)

  • Pinch of ground black pepper

Directions

  • Pour the milk into a pot and cook over medium heat.
  • Add in all the ingredients and simmer.
  • Bring it to boil.Boilng the golden milk right before hitting the bed
  • Turn off the heat and let it steep for 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour into a mug and enjoy.

Notes

  • If you are using raw ginger, make sure to grate it really fine. Otherwise, you might ruin the smoothness of the drink.
