Homemade Lasagna Sheets with Pasta Maker

Homemade Lasagna Sheets with Pasta Maker

I will keep this post short and simple. I needed to make some lasagna sheets today, because I couldn’t find them in my local supermarket, and it is lasagna for dinner 😀 My boyfriend has been cooking the entire week for me (it’s Thursday today), so I promised him I would make lasagna for dinner today.

Cooking time

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of flour (all purpose flour)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 table spoons of olive oil (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Some warm water

Ingredients:

300 grams of flour (all purpose flour)

2 eggs

2 table spoons of olive oil (optional)

Pinch of salt

Some warm water

Directions

1 Mix the flour, eggs, salt and olive oil together in a bowl. Use your hand to do so.

2. If your dough is dry add slowly, some warm water, and start kneading until the down becomes elastic. See the photo.

3. Cover it with a lid and let it rest for 30 minutes or so. You can start making the tomato and meat sauce, as well as the “white” sauce for the rest of the lasagna meanwhile.

4. Take out your amazing pasta maker (if you don’t have one, I totally recommend you buying one). The mechanical pasta maker is cheap, and it is very easy to clean and use.

5. Start making the pasta sheets using the pasta maker. See the photos. You can also watch my video on how to make the lasagna and how to use the pasta maker.

6. Now you are ready to put together your lasagna. I used a pan of 20x30cm and I used 9 plates / sheets of pasta.

7. Put it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes or so.

Enjoy your dinner 😀
